CGL Computers Software And Other Items For Sale In The Online Shop Click Here I have a CGL 'George' CompuRobot programmable robot / toy / computer- Battery Powered: 4 AA's and 1 9V fit into a slide out tray on the back of the robot. The CompuRobot was produced in the mid-1980's by Axlon. The Axlon company was run by Nolan Bushnell (Atari); it also produced the Topo robot! This robot was also marketed as "George" in Britain by CGL.CompuRobot has three motor speeds and a working headlight. A 4-bit microprocessor on board runs programs that are entered by pressing a sequence of keys on the robot's head. The robot's memory can hold up to 48 commands. Here is mine - Here are some photos of the other version not mine , mine is in quite good condition also -
Here is how you program him - Commands are entered with a
command button followed by a number -- to switch to third gear, move forward for
4 seconds, do a 180 degree turn and then reverse the program, you would press
the following buttons: As an example of the
"multiply" button: to turn right for ten seconds, pause for 30
seconds, turn audio on for 3 seconds, and then turn the audio off: These are really quite rare now
