General
The following terms and conditions apply to all transaction on our website. The
use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. The
placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference. These terms
and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. To order goods through this
website you must be at least 18 years of age (Please get your parents to pay /
order / confirm if under 18). We will treat each order for goods as an offer by
you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
How To Order And What Will Happen And Your Rights
In accordance with the distance selling regulations we sell and send things to you under these condition and rules. To buy an item or items from us in the first instance EMAIL us to confirm its availability and cost , and also cost of posting and packing and any other charges that may be incurred by the buyer / you. We will confirm said details as requested and list the payment methods offered for that order. We will send you an email outlining all the details on this page and details of your specific purchase. Under the distance selling regulation you are allowed a period of cooling off of seven (7) days after placing an order. Accordingly unless you specifically write to us waiving that right we will not send the item for at least seven (7) days after the order is placed to allow for this. You MUST inform us by Email at - info@retro-trader.com - if you wish to cancel an order , and you must confirm that we have acknowledged this cancellation of your order. This seven period will stand unless you specifically waive it regardless of how payment made , of course no goods will be sent until payment has cleared regardless. Please be aware it is a criminal offence to purchase goods with an intent not to pay the seller and we will use the law to its full extent against fraudulent buyers. Once the payment has cleared / the cooling off period has passed the item will be sent ASAP. Please also take note of our full terms and conditions as listed on this site , and sent to you with your invoice.
Description and Price of Goods
All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site are
for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. All
prices are shown in UK Pounds Sterling (GBP). We are entitled to make
adjustments to the price to take account of any taxes or duties, or if due to an
error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong. We will inform you
of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All
prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges (unless clearly stated
on an individual item) which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing
your order.
Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical
error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, we shall have the
right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or
not the order has been confirmed. If you have already been charged and we
subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately refund you the value of the
incorrect price charged.
Payment Methods
RetroTrader.Com is happy to accept payments in UK pounds , UK cheques in UK
pounds drawn on a UK bank account , and cash payments in UK Pounds , with no
charge or penalty. We will consider other currency payments but would charge a
currency conversion fee of our choice to be agreed with the buyer.
RetroTrader.Com via PayPal / Nochex / Fastpay , accept all major credit
and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard and Switch. Your credit or debit card
details are never seen or held by us , just by the trusted companies previously
mentioned who process your payment and pass this into our accounts , we can in
no way be held liable for any misuse of your details as we never see or touch
them , please see the respective sites terms and conditions of use and safety
and security policies.
Availability of Goods
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at
any time. If an item you ordered is not in stock, we will back order it for you.
If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these
and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be
responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do
not supply the goods.
Delivery Charges / Delivery
Problems
We usually use the Post Office / Parcel force Standard delivery for UK orders ,
and non UK orders also unless specifically requested to use another method , ie.
courier at the buyers expense. We obtain a certificate of posting for all items
sent but do not use insurance unless requested to by the buyer , if an item goes
missing or is damaged in transit we will provide you with the appropriate forms
and proof of posting for YOU to make a claim from the Royal Mail. We cannot be
held responsible for any item lost or damaged in transit , we WILL help you in
every way to claim for this item should it occur , but we are not responsible
for replacing or refunding it should this happen. This is a explicit term and
condition of RetroTrader and by agreeing to our terms and conditions you are

Cancellations and Returns
If you wish to cancel your order, please email us first at 'info@retro-trader.com'
within 7 working days of receiving the goods. Please ensure that you receive a
confirmation from us that your cancellation email was received. If you wish to
return any goods, please likewise email us first for authorisation. You have to
pay the cost of returning the goods. Goods that are sent back without
authorisation from us may be refused. Returns for any reason other than our
error, Post Office damage or if goods do not meet the sales of goods act are
discretionary. Discretionary returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Time Limitations for Notification of Claims
Damage in transit - If goods
arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's delivery
consignment note and it will be your
responsibility to inform us within 2 days from delivery.
Shortages - It is your
responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages
as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted
on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us within 2
days from delivery.
In-Correct Goods - It is your responsibility to notify us of any in-correct goods supplied within 2 days from delivery.
Non-Deliveries - We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit but will help you recover unless we are not notified within 10 days from the expected delivery date.

Other FAQ - With Regards To Terms And Conditions
Many of the items on this web site for sale are many years old and you must bear that in mind when purchasing items from us. Unless it states otherwise on the individual item it is second hand. Because of this we have to sell everything on a sold as seen basis , and will not sell any item on any other basis than this. We cannot be held responsible for any item once it has left our possession. By purchasing any item from us you are agreeing to all the terms and conditions we set.
Unless an item states it is in its original packaging it is not.
We do not include insurance or postage and packaging on prices stated (unless it specifically states a postage price) , however we will send items insured if requested by the purchaser requests it and makes the extra payment when checking the price of Posting and Packaging. For basic information on postage please look at the Royal Mail web site , for basic cost of posting , we generally send by parcel post unless requested to send another way. ROYAL MAIL Of course a separate packing fee may apply.
The more you buy , we will try to reduce the overall postage and packing costs.
We DO NOT keep any electronic records of you or your purchase and DO NOT HOLD any records of ANYONE. I have something you want , you pay me , payment clears , I send it , end , nothing more than that. The only records we keep are of items themselves and the sale of those items , we do not , and would use your personal information for anything other than sending you an item. We do not sell or pass on any of this information.
